John R. Hill specializes in Couples and Family Therapy. He works with a variety of people with diverse treatment goals. He utilizes an eclectic approach that begins with analysis of his clientele in the context of where they see themselves at the time the therapy begins. He focuses on the family and the individuals as part of a larger system and treatment is prescribed according to needs by offering one-hour therapeutic sessions designed specifically to help people make changes that will help them move toward a happier and healthier lifestyle, both individually and in their relationships with others.
John founded Body Mind and Spirit Counseling at The Center for Change in Kennett Square, Pa and shares his time in Montrose, Pa.
He has a unique perspective given his rich educational experiences. He has served as Bi-vocational Pastor and Pastor duties at First Baptist Churches of Salem, Gloucester City, and Woodstown, New Jersey. John served as Pastoral Intern/Lay Leader at First Baptist Church of Holloway Terrace New Castle, Delaware and Vision Coordinator for American Baptist Churches of New Jersey. He served in the United States Army National Guard and has worked for Atlantic Financial, GMAC Mortgage Company, Internal Revenue Service and was an Income Maintenance Case Worker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
