Meet Chris….
Adedicated student of movement, Chris explores and integrates diverse movement practices from around the world. His passion for nature and exploring different landscapes led him to seek a fitness system that prepared him for a variety of real-world challenges. This pursuit led him to discover MovNat, a natural movement physical education system that transformed his approach to health and performance. Chris is the founder of Backwoods Movement, Sports and Wellness and serves at the Wellness Arts Center.
Through Backwoods Movement, Sport and Wellness, Chris shares his love for movement, lifetime sports, and wellness with the Endless Mountains communities of Pennsylvania. His mission is to empower people to move better, feel stronger, and embrace a lifetime of activity and overall well-being.
Chris grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York, where his passion for team sports and the outdoors began. A three-sport athlete in high school, he enjoyed alternative sports like snowboarding and rollerblading. While earning his degree from West Virginia University he developed a love for outdoor recreation and lifetime sports, including golf, disc golf, pickleball, hiking, cross-country skiing, and backpacking.
After college, Chris immersed himself in cycling, racing mountain bikes and fat bikes while working in the bicycle industry. Living in Colorado, he expanded his outdoor pursuits to include off-road bicycle touring, skiing, and rock climbing.
Chris’s love for golf and fitness has driven him to serve the golf community by helping players improve their physical fitness. As an ASFA Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, he focuses on training golfers, leading them to greater enjoyment and longevity in the game. He is the head coach for elementary-aged kids at The Pad Climbing in Binghamton, NY, where he shares his love for climbing and adventure with young athletes.

Uses movement from various backgrounds, including natural movement, yoga, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, golf and custom program to fit the needs of an individual or group. Chris serves the golf community by helping players improve their physical fitness. He offers movement adventures for elementary-aged kids.
