Yoga for Renewal...
Jessica will lead you in a blended rotation of 3 yoga gentle styles each Friday in the warmth of the Carriage House to wind down your week. 1) Yin yoga: a slow-paced, passive style yoga that involves holding seated or lying postures for extended periods (typically 3 -4 minutes) to target deep connective tissues—such as ligaments, joints, and fascia—rather than muscles. 2) Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep): a guided meditation technique and state of conscious deep relaxation that sits between wakefulness and the dream state. Jessica will lead you to systematically relax the body, release tension, and calm the nervous system while remaining awake and aware. 3) Restorative yoga: another really slow and cozy yoga style that utilizes a lot of props (all provided for you) to provide the body and nervous system plenty of time to let go of tension.
Essential oils are offered at the start of the class so please let Jessica know at the beginning if you have any allergies to essential oils. Advanced registration is not required, however please arrive by 5:20pm to settle in. There is a student waiver and info form to fill out your first time with us.

At Wellness Arts Center, we want to provide you with the best yoga experience possible. A few things to consider for your best, comfortable practice:
- Talk to your instructor to address any physical/injury limitations you may have. They will modify practices to fit your needs.
- All equipment is provided and set up for you in an open, welcoming environment. Equipment includes yoga mat, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets, therapeutic balls, and bolsters.
- Wear comfortable clothing of your choice that allows freedom of movement.
- You are welcome to bring your water bottle for your practice.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in and for a tour of your yoga space.
- Please leave your phone in the waiting area or in your car.
