Massage
Deep tissue Massage uses deep pressure that combines slow strokes and finger pressure. The purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues.
Swedish Massage, one of the most common types of massage therapy is often used for relaxation, and stress and pain relief. This method involves rubbing, kneading, stroking, and tapping of muscle structures.
Myo skeletal Alignment techniques help restore function in the skeletal system through muscular work. The technique involves restive stretching, muscle-balancing techniques with joint-mobilization maneuvers. These maneuvers help to quickly identify and correct dysfunction before they become pain patterns.
Cupping Therapy is an ancient healing technique to ease pain. Cups are placed on your back, stomach, arms, legs, or other parts of your body. A vacuum or suction force inside the cup pulls your skin upward. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under your skin. Your body replenishes the cupped areas with healthier blood flow and stimulates proper and normal healing at a cellular level.
Hot Stone Massage is an ancient practice that uses heated natural stones placed on precise points along the body to create soothing pressure. These stones are rich in iron and retain heat longer. Massage is performed by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of the blood returning to the heart to enhance the positive effect of this Massage. Benefits include relaxation, stress release, help with back pain, and improvements to depression or anxiety.
Warm Bamboo Massage uses solid bamboo sticks of different lengths and diameters to massage the body. The sticks are gently warmed and applied to give deep and long massage strokes to break down tension and stretch tight muscles.
Lymphatic Therapy
Complete decongestive therapy and manual Lymph drainage is utilized to treat Lymphedema, post-op swelling, chronic venous insufficiency, fibromyalgia, and immune disorders. Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in your arms and legs caused by lymphedema. Lymphedema often affects people recovering from breast cancer surgery. Lymphedema occurs when your tissues retain fluid left behind after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your tissues and organs. The remaining fluid is called lymph. Normally, your lymphatic system collects your lymph and returns it to your heart via a network of lymph vessels and lymph nodes. When something disrupts your lymphatic system’s process, lymph collects in your arms and legs, making them swell.
